hi

i have a another problem which occured before being infested with malware. in the meantime my computer has be disinfected and inoculated!

until now the hard drive was functionning normally.

while mbam was running on my computer and while scanning my secondary disk (maxtor), my computer froze.

on rebooting my secondary hard disk was not visible anymore.

the computer bios sees it, windows system sees it and in windows xp disk management ihe secondary dish (disk 1) appears
connected and with a note under the capacity saying not allocated.

how can i recover this hard dksk? the hard drive is formated ntfs and contains data

ran maxtor powermax diags on the hard drive in question.
everything was ok expect that the powermax program did not find a partition.
my partition info was probably lost during the computer freeze.

is there a way to resotre this info?
