i juse recently installed diablo 2 on my pc, everything went well up until i tried to run the game. an error message appeared "Unable to load function: FT_Thunk (Kernell32.dll)"

i am using windows xp sp2 on my pc, hope that anyone can help since this is one of my favorite games.

Well this post is old but I will reply in case others run into this same problem.

Diablo 2 doesn't seem compatible with the current Direct X drivers and there doesn't appear to be any updates for this. However if you look in your Diablo 2 folder you will see a file D2VidTst.exe If you run this test and pass you are then asked to run in Direct3D or Direct Draw. It will default to Direct3D so change it to Direct draw and it will run fine in this mode. At least it does for me.
