Well as the title says I recently got a Blue Screen of Death saying 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0x8EE6CC7C, 0xA01C3754, 0x00000000), it'll keep restarting on me as long as the computer is on and go back to dumping physical memory on the BSOD regardless if I'm in safemode or just sitting at my log in. I recently downloaded some mangas in rar files and I think I downloaded a bad one, I started scanning my computer when it started acting weird, like it was opening things alot slower than usual, than in the middle of the scan everything stopped and just went blue. I've tried logging on to do a system restore or more security scans and whatnot but I don't have enough time, it'll just restart in a matter of minutes and mock me with that blue screen once again. I've tried looking up a solution online but alot of them either don't really relate or they don't apply to vista and this is getting irritating. >.<

On a side note, when I log on a new error message I have never seen before pops up saying "svchost.exe - bad image" and "globablroot\systemroot\system32\TDSScrrx.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing th eprogram again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support." I'm really at a lost here as to what to do and I need my computer for assignments for college, so I'm pleading for somebody to help! :)

Thanks in advance!

-Jonny

It sounds like your registry might have been corrupted by a bad file? The TDSScrrx.dll, I believe, is a variation of the tdssserv virus. It's a nasty one that blocked every known program that could disable it. You should go to the malware forums with a Hijack This log.

Sounds like a rootkit on the MBR from the (0xC0000005) extension to the 8E.

First off though appreciated any malware advice is only to be given in the Malware Forum and then only by Trained Malware Techs.
Second of all the stop error indicated means the following.

0x0000008E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
(Click to consult the online MSDN article.)
A kernel mode program generated an exception which the error handler didn’t catch. These are nearly always hardware compatibility issues (which sometimes means a driver issue or a need for a BIOS upgrade).

Thirdly and most important is if you suspect a infection then I suggest you read the 'Start Here' topic found HERE. With these self-help tools you have a high chance of fixing the problems on your own. If you are still having problems after following Step 3 of the guide, continue with Step 4 and 5 and post in the Malware Forum. If you are unable to run any programs, Please create a topic stating what you have tried so far and that you are unable to run any programs. Also, Please do NOT post the logs in this thread.

If you are still having issues after the malware expert gives you a clean bill of health, Please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
