Needed to use IE7 to download something from Microsoft and discovered that IE no longer works (but it used to) ... get:
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage ... work.

Tried several different URL's (they all worked ok on FF 3). Checked 'Internet Options' in IE7 - reset to defaults (even tho hadn't made any changes in past) -- backed up registry with ERUNT then scanned/fixed problems with CCleaner (there were only a few - have been doing it every 2-3 weeks in past) ... but no joy.

Have been using FF successfully for couple of years but have to use IE once in a while ... used it a few weeks ago with no problem. Have kept up to date with Windows updates. Have Win XP Home - SP2, IE7, and FF 3.

Any suggestions?
