Ihave recently gone wireless but foolishly threw away the router box not knowing that I needed it to apply a password, anyone got any ideashow I can secure my laptop from intruders.

Need router info, but if Linksys Router, see Default Passwords - Administrator Login

How to Change a Router's PW
You usually get to the settings via: http://192.168.1.1 which will allow you to set everything up. Sometimes it's best to do this witha direct access via an ethernet cable.
