Bios update for Tablet 1100

I have installed a replacement battery, which is not being propery recognized. I've tried all of the troubleshooting - driver update, hardware install process, etc. The battery manufacturer suggested updating the bios, but I can't figure out how to do that. Please note that I have contacted HP and since the laptop is not under warranty, there is a fee just to ask the question.

You would need to contact HP and see if there is a BIOS update available for your Tablet.
