My sister lives further than half a world away in my country. & I gave her AVG Free a long time ago. Come to think of it years ago! I believe I had given her [version 7.something] at the time.

Her AVG somehow became corrupt and wouldn't update anymore. It would say "UPDATE UNSUCCESSFUL" when she'd try to update. So I researched the problem on the web and the solution seems to be to uninstall and reinstall. Problem is AVG is only being distributed and sold with v8 by GRISOFT now and it also isn't so stable for many people. So I'm trying to get my hands on the old version which isn't available from their official site anymore.

But theres so many websites that might have fake copies so I don't think I'm capable of finding it myself. I actually rather have one of you experts help me out and tell me if you know where I can find a legit copy.

I currently run AVG FREE Version 7.5.552 on my system without problems to this very day.

SO IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE A LEGIT CLEAN AND NOT FAKE VIRUS COPY OF AVG FREE Version 7.5.552 EXISTS, LET ME KNOW SO I CAN GET IT FOR MY SISTER ASAP!!!

AVG 7.5 is barely hanging out there. It was supposed to be discontinued last August, then December...It's still going, because the newest version, 8.0 has been having too many problems, but I wouldn't count on 7.5 being there for ever.
You can still get 7.5 here: http://filehippo.com...antivirus/4029/, if you insist.
Generally, I'd suggest, your sister switches to something more current. Free, and as good, or better:

Comodo, during installation, gives you options to install AV only, firewall only, or both.
