Hi there. I'm writing with a question. I have several anti-virus programs on my computer. I have noticed that since I updated AVG to version 8 that my computer start up is much slower. Just wondering if it is interfering with my other anti-virus programs or if I could possibly have too many programs (anti-virus) running on my system???

If you need any further information about my system, please feel free to let me know..

Thanks in advance..

Never use more than one antivirus program on your computer. Otherwise, conflicts may occur and your system will be slower (too many running processes in the background).

AVG version 8 is known to slow down some computers. Looks like yours is 1 of them.

Again you should not have more than 1 virus program running at 1 time. It can be installed, but not running in the background. They will conflict and give false positives.
1 program will report the other as having virus's due to the dat files.
