I have a HP G6032EA (GZ974EA) notebook with Windows XP 64 bit Professional (Version 5.2 / Service Pack 2). I have downloaded the driver file off the HP website for the HDAUDIO Conexant audio and modem driver (all in one). The driver I have downloaded for some reason will not install the Conexant Audio of the HDAUI Smart CP. If I use Winrar and open up the driver file (sp34427.exe) and try to load Setup.exe and HXFSetup64.exe still nothing happens. I have tried downloading the drivers through windows update but as I do I get an error message saying "Required section not found in the INF". I am at my ends wits! can any1 help? Thanks in advance for any solutions!

Sorry for the delay, not sure if you still need help.
Looking on the HP site reveals only drivers for the Data Fax Modem on Windows XP Professional x64.

The file you refer to sp34427.exe is in fact the driver for the Data Fax Modem.
I found the following post while searching for a solution to your issue. According to the thread this method worked for several different people on different notebooks.
