Hi Monarch,
To upgrade from windows 95 to 98 you will need to buy the upgrade CD at almost any computer store. Then just follow the installation instructions.

You should use the FDISK if you do not want to run both systems, but otherwise you do not need to format your computer's hard drive. What i mean by running both systems is that when you start up your system you will have an option of either starting your system in windows 95 or windows 98 version. So if you want to only have windows 98 then yes you do need to format the hard drive, but then definitly make sure you have used the FDISK.
Good luck!

You really don't have to use fdisk. i mean, if you delete a partition, you're deleting everything on the drive. You can do it another way by just formating the hd. It would save you time. You don't have to worry about partitions when you have a previous one on. The only reasonfor running fdisk is if you wanted to create 2 seperate partitions, one for your OS and one for your apps. this is usually a good idea so if you starting out, you might want to consider it. If you need any help, just ask. thanks
