Hello selayeru...

Do you have Daemon tools or Alcohol 120% installed?

Did you start having the problem at about the time you installed Daemon Tools?

From Safe Mode, do a System Restore to a date just prior to the 25th and see if it boots normally when that completes.

Click Start, then All Programs, point to Accessories, then to System Tools, and click on System Restore. Follow the prompts and choose a date before January 25th to restore to.

===========================

If you are unable to restore, use Add or Remove Programs (in Control Panel) to remove Daemon Tools. Then see if the machine will boot normally.

You can try to reinstall it, but you'll likely end up back where you were. Daemon Tools is just not compatible with some machine configurations.

If you choose to reinstall, go back to System Restore and create a new restore point so you don't have to go back so far to restore.
