Iv had this pc for like 6 months time now and like a week ago my pc started to act strange i was playing World of warcraft and suddenly my screen froze and my pc restarted. then i was thinking well this is strange but i guessed hmm.. might be a Software program that uppdated something and had automaticly restarted. so i didnt give it more thought but it didnt stop there. afther 20 mins again it just freezed and restarted then i was thinking this might not be good. i Runned Avast antivirus + Serch and destroy to see if it was anything related to infection's on my pc but nothing was found exsept cookies (i ran the serches 2 times incase it missed one the first time) and i thought this is now solved.. but it didnt =/
afther that i enterd Nvidia's main site to search for a new Display driver and there was so i installed the brand new one (12.1.2008) but here is one of the things that is worrying me i had World of warcraft running in the backround while the drivers where getting installed i know its the stupiest thing to do.. but i didnt realize before it was to late
so afther that my pc acted strange i want to add it actually started with that i think =/ because i was trying to highten my FPS in games since my was wery low compared to what i should have. but then afther this my pc continued its normal rutine Freeze -> Shutdown -> Restart..
and eventrually it came on my screen afther my my bios was done loading durning start it came a message:
Boot device failure. Please insert Systerm or operating disk.
Then suddenly my pc didnt have Vista installed anymore :s my hard drives where emty
Afther that i installed Vista over again.. since there was nothing else to do (that was yeasterday) Vista Ultimate x32/86 bit system.
And i installed every driver overagain (made sure i didnt have any games running
) Vista is allso upto date but it still continues same problem now =/ My CPU temp in Bios is 30-40 degrese
My GPU temp is 57-62 Degrese while running games
this is a list of Hardware if it helps to come to a conclusjon:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 Ghz
Nvidia GTX 280 (From Point Of View)
Kingston DDR2 HyperX PC8500 (4 Gig ram)
Using 2 harddrives (not sure of the manufactor) but i think its Seagate or something 500Gigx2 Running in Raid 0
Motherbord: Striker Exstreme (Asus)
This is all i can tell atleast for now so if there is anything more you whould need to know let me know
