i read up a little on it and found it has something to do with temporary internet files. whenever i delete them, it stops acting up, but eventually i will be absolutely flooded with symantec security alerts, telling me they have quarantined the infection. i know symantec is the george bush of antivirus software, but the college i attend requires it to be on my computer in order to be on the network. anyway, i have tried malwarebytes, and i have tried running a full system scan with symantec, and still nothing has helped. i come to you for help, i am in dire need! i have provided a hijackthis log for you to have a look at. thank you and any help is greatly appreciated.
