I followed the directions in the HijackThis! forum because I had trouble with a win32 [Cryp] virus, and it worked great...deleted the worm and everything...but now I've got a problem. I play some WildTangent games via HP game console and the data all got wiped...fine, no problem, i'll just start from the beginning again...but now the games won't save any data at all! I checked the WildTangent forums, they say the games are being saved as cookies, if that helps at all. How can I get these games to save again without compromising my comp's security?

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

I know that you used the guide, but we need to make sure it is fully removed before trying to troubleshoot the other issues.
