To whoever can possibly help me,

I have a computer that works like a charm but the USB ports are major problem,

They are shown in the device manager and it states they are 'working' but whenever anything is plugged in (ie. digital cameras, ipod, mp3 player etc.), it is completley unresponsive - the devices that are plugged in dont even charge.

This problem has been giving me a lot of grief for some time now and ive tried updating drivers with programs such as Driver Detective and nothing has worked so this is a last, desperate attempt!

ANY help would be very much appreciated.

Peace.

Hello sessaram...

In Device Manager, expand Universal Serial Bus controllers. Right click on each USB Hub (there should be more than one) and Uninstall them.

Reboot and let Windows reinstall the hubs, then reboot again.

Try the USB ports. Any change?
