Hi Everyone,

Less than 6-months after I bought & installed the 2008 version of AVG family edtion it Stopped doing Updates or allowing me to contact them AT ALL via net, like they are specfically being Blocked??

So I got a 800#for AVG C/S from my Local store where I bought the CD and when I spoke to a Tech he seemed
to know exactly what "Virus" I had and how he could Help me for a $120 fee!!

I have never heard or read that other Full Version AntiVirus Big Name Brands are charging us extra not to mention $100+ to FIX something we bought the thing for in the 1st place to do. If it stated it on the Box of these extra Fees I wouldn't have bought AVG!

Is this S-O-P for other Full Version Antivirus Programs??
Please advise, thanks

No, it's not.

McAfee for example has a free 24h online help service on their website.
