Hello, i'm new here. i have a few conflicts that needs to be sorted through. Everytime i try to check my hard disks for errors, or browse the contents of a cd-rom by "right clicking them", i get an immediate "explorer has encountered an error and needs to close" message followed by a ten second computer freeze resuming with a "dr.Watson has encountered an error and needs to close message" i find myself having to do this numerous times. i have scanned my computer for viruses, Panda Antivirus found two viruses and deleted them.. I'm running no spyware programs jus the built in firewall that came with panda and XP SP2s firewall disabled. i don't know whats going on but i cant access some of my material and its vital that i do.

please assist me some1.

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
