I have a T43 IBM laptop - Crashed basically taking 4 years worth of email, etc with it.. I know back up.. I am smarter now..

I am getting the T43 rebuilt as we speak.. New HD, RAM, Etc..

I want to know what Desktop Model I could buy that I could constantly be synching?? with my laptop..

I want to be able to do this remotely as well as through a cord of some sort..

My needs in a Desktop..

FAST, FAST, FAST..
Tons of memory..

Basic Needs - Music, Movie (dubbing), web building, etc..

I want this to be the last computer for awhile.. Something I can add too or rebuild as needed with the new thing...

I have a budget of about 1500.00 no more.. What do you suggest...
