I made a booboo and cannot boot up from my computer. When I turn my system on, I get the message:

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \windows\system\vgaoem.fon
You can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the original setup CD Rom. Select "r" at the first screen to start repair.

Hopefully I will be able to borrow a friends XP CD Rom and do this myself and make the needed repairs. I am no computer expert, however.

Anything I need to keep in mind as I do this? Please answer simply and in step by step form if I need to perform a process of some kind. Thanks in advance for any help. You guys are wonderful!
