Hey all,

I have this awesome laptop, way more than I need, (what can I say, just call me princess) I surf the web, facebook, and play PC games. Mostly SIMS 2.

I keep getting that message, at random times, and then my pc crashes. I have uninstalled all the games and removed the custom content and re-installed them, without the custom content, to no avail. A couple other little glitfches, but none as bothersome as this.

Im not completely illiterate, but definately no techie . Follow direction, though, and very respectful :)

Any ideas? Please?

Thx in advance

Hello Emjaye and welcome to G2G!

To be able to help you a bit better we'll need a bit more information.

What are the specs of your PC?
If you don't know then please download and run SysSpec. Run the file > click edit > click copy to clipboard and then paste it with your reply.

What other information was on the blue screen? a file name perhaps and/or an error code

I assume it'll be a 0x0000000A error and will list the graphics card driver as the culprit but best to check.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error is often caused by bad RAM, or overheating.

Since your error happens, when you're using the computer, I'd start with...

Download, and install SpeedFan: http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php
Post your computer temperatures:

I’d say it could a temperature issue, I got this error once when I forgot to plug the processor’s fan and it got system temp like up to 70° Celsius, lucky me it didn’t burn out!
