I recently obtained a used Acer Aspire 5000 notebook.
It came with no Wxp CD's.
Is this a computer that has xp hidden on the hd?
Is there a way to copy it so there will be a backup in case of disaster?

Acer should have eRecovery partition, which is accessible by pressing ALT + F10 at the boot time.
