Greetings! I recently got a new logitech wireless mouse/keyboard combo and I'm having an odd problem with the keyboard. In Windows explorer, when using shift and ctrl keys to select multiple files with the mouse, I have to press the keys extremely hard to get them to function. Even then it is kind of hit-and-miss. However, when I'm typing a document in Word (or here in this forum) the shift key works fine. I can also use ctrl-alt-del and get the desired result with no trouble.

Something just occurred to me; it seems the only time I have a problem is when using the keyboard and mouse together. Is this common with combo sets?

This is a Logitech LX310 set and I'm running Windows XP with SP3 if that matters.

Any thoughts on the problem will be most welcome.

Thanks!

Yes, my old keyboard worked fine, it's just this new one that's acting up.

In that case, I think, you should contact Logitech.
