When printing in duplex mode on my Lexmark X1150 the printing status indicates too many pages.

If I wish to print on both sides of one sheet the printing status says there are 4 pages to print. These consist of :-

1st page OK
The next page (other side) is actually a message consisting of a large arrow and instructions on how to reload the sheet. As far as I know this message should appear onscreen but doesn't. I put in a dummy page to complete this printing.
The 3rd page is the correct other side of the first.
The 4th page is just a blank.

If 3 sides are required then the printing status indicate 6 pages to print and presumable pro rata upwards.

I have reinstalled the software from my disks and also downloaded from the Lexmark site the pertinent program to no avail to quosh this bug.

Can anyone advise please?
