Hello, a while ago we kept getting these false positive Windows warnings to force us to buy some Antispyware 2008 program, I had succesfully removed that since the virus warnings and the windows balloon warnings (bottom right of screen) stopped... but since then my firewall has been hijacked
when I go to the Firewall options the "OFF (not recommended)" option is selected and everything is grayed out (I can't select ON)

Also about this same time my Remote Desktop stopped working, when I try connecting from my laptop it gives me an error with options 1)Its not setup right 2) Too many connections when it worked perfectly before all this...

And just recently I've been working on some webpages and on one site there has been some Obfuscated javasscript code injected into my webpages...

Now having this firewall open is getting worrisome..

Can someone please help?

Thank you in advance..

Cheers
Tony

I suggest you go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post a HiJackThis Log in THAT forum. If you are unable to run and/or post a HJT log, then post that in your initial post in the topic you create in that forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
