Stuck in 4 bit after sp2 update

I just downloaded service pack 2 on windows update, and after reboot now my computer is stuck in 4 bit color resolution and i cannot change it.... so now im currently instaling sp3.... will that fix it? if not please help resolution was fine until installed sp3

Hello Bosson_B and welcome to G2G!

Sounds like a graphics card driver update is in order.

What are the specs of your PC?
If you don't know then please download and run SysSpec. Run the file > click edit > click copy to clipboard and then paste it with your reply.
