I wanted to go back to EA battle field, but I only have the original copy BF2(no expansion pack).
Can I so play my original BF2 with other people that have the new expansion pack like Fury,special forces, or EU force What the latest patches?
Do I need install gamespy because I didnt install it when the cd told me to but if I do need to install it, can or is there method in getting the installment or do I have to reinstall the BF2 game again.

Hi,

To play online Battlefield 2 requires Gamespy. You can download the Gamespy client from their website. Downloading and installing the latest Battlefield 2 patch is also a must.
