IE 7 Freezing -Message "waiting about:blank"

Hi All,

I have a problem with Internet Explorer (particularly when refreshing sites). IE 7.0 freezes with the message "waiting about:blank" appearing in the bottom left of the screen. I have to either restart IE or restart the PC completely. This is a new problem I have not encountered before and would be grateful of anyones help.

Having read responses from other on this and other sites, I have downloaded hijackthis and ran a scan, but haven't done anything since as I don't want to do anymore harm. Here is the results of the scan .......
