hey... The other day I upgraded to the latest Firefox... Now when I go to post something in firefox, the smiley icons on the left are missing, and the bold, underline, italic, smilies, hyperlink, quote box, code box, etc... across the top of the posting box is missing also..

Clearing temp, cookies, etc. does nothing.
Refreshing page does nothing.
All features work fine in other browsers.

Is anyone else also experiencing this??

My Firefox version:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/2009011913 Firefox/3.0.6

I'm going to downgrade to the last Firefox... I don't like other browsers...

No Luck... GeeksToGo still isn't functioning correctly..

EDIT: I uninstalled, cleared cache, temp, etc.. then reinstalled, and everything is working now!

That's why I am still with version 2.0.0.20. FF 3.x still has too many bugs for me.

I thought security updates, bug fixes, and updates for Firefox 2 stopped being released...

They have, but I don't care. Better than using a crappy 3.x version! :)

I've had no problems with FX 3.X so far. Only bug I have observed so far, which kind of bothers me, is that it seems that Masterpassword is not working as intended. I can log in to my Gmail just fine, without it asking for masterpassword. In FX 2.X it will ask for it when you open FX, as far as I remember. Not so in 3.x.

FF 3.x shuts off all my needed add-ons for one. Add-on developers have been slow fixing these for version 3.x.

Firefox 3 Beta 3 master password question
Firefox 3 asks for Master Password for each tab upon restarting

Not sure if those will help, but others have had that problem.

I haven't been hit on my addons, altho I use a whopping 10 of them :)

Thanks for the links. Didn't address my "problem", altho the first link had a
interesting thing. The "how to reset masterpassword" I wasn't aware off.

The thing with my bug, is that normally, FX should ask for the password right
away when I enter a site where I have saved passwords. This is only needed
once per session. I use iGoogle as homepage, and have a direct link to my
Gmail, and here It doesn't bother ask for a password :) Ah well, guess
I have to wait for updates to address it.

Possibly you have a cookie that contains the "Remember Me" login and FF 3 doesn't bother to ask for PW????
