i , :)

Can anyone help .

I have the Conexant HSF V92 56K PCI Modem installed in my PC running Windows XP Home SP2.

Previous to installing SP2 I had the modem speaker turned off and all was fine , howevere once I installed SP2 the modem speaker was automatically back on ??

I went into control panel , phone and modems , modem tab , properties , modem tab and set the volume to off on the slide bar clicked ok , but when I dial up the speaker is still on and I have to listen to that annoying squeal noise .

Anyone know how to get the [bleep] thing off as that dial up squeal noise drives me nuts :tazz: ;) ;)

Thanks in advance for any info
