iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. The network connect time

I ran the diagnostics and said there was an error saying link to iTunes store failed. I clicked next and this is what it said.....

if you are still having this issue. Here is how I managed to fix it.


go to your IE >> TOOLS >> INTERNET OPTIONS >> CONNECTIONS >> LAN SETTINGS

UNCHECK the option "Automatically Detect Setting"


Took me 2 days to figure this out.
ARRRGH

I guess this option is checked by default now.

I think you're learning that iTunes is inherently buggy. I've gone through the 'automatically detect' thing, checking it and unchecking it, it doesn't make a difference in my case. I'm making the move to Real player because there are too many annoyances like this in itunes...I've already converted what I can and resampled what I couldn't convert. It's a pain but I need a player that's stable.

The only thing that has helped stop that error (for me) is to close itunes and reopen it. That works every time but that's not acceptable to me as a fix...

I have the same problem on my pc dell inspiron 1526
The problem is netvork conection pls if now somebody help me this is the problem

un-check use a proxy server in internet options
that worked for me! :)
