Hi,

i'm thinking about putting my old hard drive into my new system but don't want to delete the information on the old hard drive.
The new system runs on Vista and the old hard drive has XP installed.

What problems am i likely to run into and how might i over come them?

No problem here. Hook it up, transfer data to new HD, format the old one.
