New Crashed External Lacie Hard Drive

Hi there, I just bought a brand new Lacie 1tb HD (Neil Poulton) backed up everything I had on my W.D. passport and sent it in, It's 3 days later and the drive is dead.
The blue light flashes slowly when I plug it in though and flashes faster when I tried another power cable (correct voltage).
Is there anything I can do to get my data back?

P.S. don't really care about the warrenty, just need the info
