hello guys i followed this steps http://www.geekstogo...-Log-t2852.html already but my problem haven't been solved.

While i was surfing the net, this popped out

Some files on your machine are encrypted and your private informations were collected and sent to us.
To decrypt files so you could use them again, you have to buy our decryptor.
After you buy decryptor, your files will be decrypted, and we will destroy your private informations from our system, and help you remove malicious software from your system.
To buy decryptor, contact us at: [email protected] or [email protected]
If you dont contact us, your private informations will be shared and you will loose all your data.

Then i found all my files being encrypted and i cant open them anymore. All of them ends will a .crypt for eg. OKKERVIL RIVER - FOR REAL.MP3.crypted

I did some research online and i suspect its the win32.crypt trojan but Im not too sure though.

I did a malware scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Avira Antivir. Some infections were detected and I quarantined/deleted them. However the problem is still not solved yet and my files are still encrypted.

Hi, waya :)

Welcome.

Posted Image Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.
Extra Note:

If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process. If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediatly.

Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**
  • Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed.
  • Close any open browsers.
  • Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

    • Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
    • Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.

      -----------------------------------------------------------

    • Close any open browsers.
    • WARNING: Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet as soon as it starts
    • Please do not attempt to re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.
    • If there is no internet connection after running Combofix, then restart your computer to restore back your connection.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

  • Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
  • If you receive a message that Combofix has detected the presence of rootkit activity and needs to reboot, kindly write down on paper the list of files present in the message before continuing, and post it in your next reply.
  • Install the Recovery Console upon request.
  • When finished, it will produce a report for you.
  • Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review.
**Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall**

  • Name the file as CFScript.txt
  • Change the Save as Type to All Files
  • and Save it on the desktop

You must be the user that encrypted the file. To remove encryption from a file, follow these steps:

1. Use Windows Explorer to locate the encrypted file that you want to decrypt.
2. Right-click the encrypted file, and then click Properties.
3. On the General tab, click Advanced.
4. Click to clear the Encrypt contents to secure data check box, click OK, and then click OK again.

but the trojan or virus has automatically encrypted
most of the files on my computer and send me this message.

"Some files on your machine are encrypted and your private informations were collected and sent to us.
To decrypt files so you could use them again, you have to buy our decryptor.
After you buy decryptor, your files will be decrypted, and we will destroy your private informations from our system, and help you remove malicious software from your system.
To buy decryptor, contact us at: [Removed]@gmail.com or [Removed]@yahoo.com
If you dont contact us, your private informations will be shared and you will loose all your data."

After i followed all the instructions you gave, the files are still encrypted and i cant open them.

This infection is unusual and there isn't that much information about it. Please standby while I do some research.

Seems that you have been the victim of the Ransom worm. There is no known fix for the encrypted files. I would suggest you perform a full online scan with BitDefender. It seems to be the most effective on this infection.

Disable your security and please download the

BitDefender Online Scanner installer. Click on the file once downloaded and allow it to install. Follow the prompts to perform a full scan.

Keep me posted.

Hi, waya :)

In a situation like this, that would also be my suggestion. Also, and since the hacker might have already obtained information from your computer, I would also suggest you do the following IMMEDIATELY:
  • Call all of your banks, credit card companies, financial institutions and inform them that you may be a victim of identity theft and to put a watch on your accounts or change all your account numbers.
  • From a clean computer, change ALL your on-line passwords for email, for banks, financial accounts, PayPal, eBay, on-line companies, any on-line forums or groups you belong to.
Do NOT change passwords or do any transactions while using the infected computer because the attacker will get the new passwords and transaction information. Please refrain from using this computer for online-banking/financial purpose until is formated and the OS reinstalled. If the computer is a recognized brand, a destructive recovery is recommended.

Keep me posted.
