My name is Lucas, I struggled to unhide the folder "Application Data" using the usual Tools, Folder Options then View menu but al in vain.
Every time I set the feature to show hidden files and folders, it would reset to default after clicking on apply then OK.
I needed to delete Mcafee files after some attempted installations failed to initialize automatic update

I tried other options like "Attrib Change" tool but no success.

Luckily, I managed to figure up a solution.
I clicked on "Start" Search, for files and folders
From the search results dialog box, I entered the whole path C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ under the address or navigator window then pressed enter.

It worked fine and I was able to delete the hidden folders
