Hi there,

Recently I have noticed that whilst playing, at random intervals, the game begins to lag quite a bit. The duration and frequency of this tends to vary quite a bit has increased recently. I never used to have this problem before.

My graphics card isnt the greatest by any stretch of the imagination, and is an integrated one that came with the Toshiba-Satellite A205 Laptop - from Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family, and also have 2gb ram. I guess it is down to this, but it strikes me as a little odd, seeing as it has all been fine up till now and that the card has handled it all fine without any lag at all, until now.

Any suggestions on how to improve this will be greatly appreciated,

Tashaq

P.S I tried running Sys spec but i get the SysSpec.exe has stopped working error every time i try to run it - i guess it's not compatible with vista yet?

nope. We don't recommend sysspec any more.

I would say that basic maintenance is recommended. Checkdisk, defrag, removing temp files for starters. Keep in mind, that you are running a laptop, which isn't meant as a gaming laptop. I am surprised that you haven't had issues earlier than this.
