please help. my automatic update keeps shutting off

hi ,

i just found this site through google. my laptop has been on the fritz for the last few weeks. i did a full system restore and its still acting up. the windows automatic update keeps turning itself off and the red shiels keeps appearing in the bottom right tray. i did a hijackthis scan and these are my results.
