I would like to know how to get the best out of my Desktop PC. I use many programs like Tuneup Utilities 2009, Ashampoo Core Tuner and UniBlue Driver Scanner. But still my comp seems quite poor. Are the programs i am using good enough and how would you recommend i speed up my system. Here are my specs.

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2160
360 GB
DVDRW DL
Windows Vista Ultimate
2048MB DDR2
360GB
NVIDIA® GeForce® 8300 GS 128MB upto 895MB Turbo cache
Realtek ALC 888S

I use many programs like Tuneup Utilities 2009, Ashampoo Core Tuner and UniBlue Driver Scanner

Waste of HD space, and computer resources, IMHO.

But still my comp seems quite poor

If you tell us more.....

You're not explaining too much, so...

I suggest you go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post a HiJackThis Log in THAT forum. If you are unable to run and/or post a HJT log, then post that in your initial post in the topic you create in that forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
