This thing is persistant. I went through your directions step by step and no dice. I am still getting the same thing. I made sure that I am able to view hidden files, but I cannot locate C:\Windows\System32\Log Files on my system and I am pretty good at locating stuff no matter where it is on this system. All the other files have already been deleted. All other directions followed. My Hijackthis file to follow.

Can you do a find files for param32.dll , systr.dll or popup_bl.dll and guninst.exe
Most likely they will be in your C:\WINDOWS\System32\ folder

Let me know which ones are found where.

*In the killbox program, select the Delete on Reboot option.
*Copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\param32.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\popup_bl.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\guninst.exe

*Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".
*Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

If the computer does not reboot on it's own and you get a prompt about PendingFileName yadayada, reboot it manually.

After the reboot check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.newgenlook.info/ad/ad0058/

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Security iGuard] C:\Program Files\Security iGuard\Security iGuard.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [WindowsFY] c:\bsw.exe

Reboot once more and post a new HijackThis log.
