I am a computer novice. Recently I was given VPN/ Remote Desktop login from Work. On my home computer I have XP- AT&T DSL and their provided Norton firewall. I can connect the cisco connection to the company network, but the Remote Desktop fails. I have turned the firewall off. Any guidance on determining what is blocking this connection. My work PC is set to accept remote login and was successfully logged in by another user and their laptop.

Thanks.

I can connect the cisco connection to the company network,

how are you verifying that? can you connect to shared folders from work or what?

but the Remote Desktop fails

better description of that would be great...where does it fail? any errors?
