OK, I finally found a solution, which proved to be pretty simple. All you have to do is right-click on "BITS" and wuauserv" in the Registry, select "PERMISSIONS" then check check/enable FULL CONTROL > CLICK> APPLY.

Now you can edit the "imagepath" and change it back to %Systemroot%...
