TAB button is bringing up window

Basically I want the normal function of the tab button, I keep on getting a window (small) of whats open on my desktop, I want the original function of tab button. Can anyone help. Thanks

In Vista it's controlled by ALT+TAB. Maybe ALT key is stuck. Try to remove it, and put it back.
