so i have a 500gig Fantom external. 2 days ago when i connected my drive and switched it on. it failed to mount to my linux computer. it is making this weird clicking noise. if i let it do that for a while it will usually stop clicking and mount. i can then use it like normal. its a liitle older thatn a year and a half. i lots of data on there and im wondering if it is breaking or if a connection inside got disconnected. i recently moved and i put my drive in my checked luggage. it worked fine when i landed and there on until now. any help would be appreciated

thanks in advace

It sound like "click of death". Get the data off of that drive immediately.
