I recently finished downloading Requiem bloodymare Online(it took me a lot of days).
So after installing it, I was very much excited to play it.
But I was disappointed when I launch the game.
It says:
"Error 06: Failed Internet Connect"

I don't have problem connecting to my internet.

At first I thought there were just something wrong with the server or
the client I downloaded was corrupted.

Then again, all my online games aren't working.
And they all have common message.
"cant connect to server".

Even my yahoo messenger isn't working.
It gives an error message:
"Messenger encountered a connection problem.
Please check the network connection and try again(81003004)"

And again I have no problem connecting to the internet.

I think it has something to do with my new isp.
I recently changed my isp because the other sucks.
Only to find out the new sucks even more.

So anyone have any ideas how to solve to problem?

Well, actually where I downloaded the the game doesn't matter.
Nonetheless, I downloaded it from the uhhh... oh yeah, the link provided by the playrequiem.com.

Like I said, all the online games aren't working anymore. They used to work.
But after I changed my ISP, things has gone awry.

I tried disabling the firewall too.

The games at the other computer in the LAN seems to work fine.

Hello

First of all the previous question that I asked you was asked for a reason :) I will now do a few things which may help you with the issue that you are having :)

The issues you are having can be caused by many issues so I would like to start at the bottom and work my way up and see what I can do. You have already done what I would do first is to disable the firewall incase that was blocking it so I shall move on from there.

I would like you to do these following commands please and after the 2nd one restart your computer and retry.
  • Select Start and goto run
  • In the run box type "netsh int ip reset" without quotation marks and press enter
  • Next select Start and goto run
  • In the run box type "netsh winsock reset" without quotation marks and press enter
  • Now restart your computer
Regards

Hello they will not do anything which will cause harm.

netsh int ip reset

This command will reset the internet protocol. (TCP/IP)

netsh winsock reset

This command will reset/repair your winsock entries.

OK... Last question.

Would it affect the router configuration?
See, this computer is the sever of the LAN.

Sorry for the very late reply.

Just the last few days I was able to connect to game servers.
I did my brother did something.

But now it is not working again after installing a new antivirus.

These commands will only apply to the main computer, they do not go anywhere near the router configurations.
