I am now finding that plugging in my memory stick freezes my computer.

The pointer willl not move and no key is active so I have to reboot. I have just had to set my computer back to factory settings and is operating better than ever but this problem has now arisen.

My USB connected printers all work OK.

Using the stick on two other computers poses no problems. The stick is almost empty, half a gig out of 4GB.
Can anyone advise on the cause and solution to this annoyance please?
