Hi,

I sold my desktop but kept my harddrive because of my sensitive data on it. I was wondering is there a way I could hook it up to my laptop or something so I can get a file off that harddrive?

Thank you,
Cam

Your best bet is to get a external enclosure for the drive and then you can plug it in to the laptop.

You have not said if it is sata or ide. The connections in the enclosure and on the drives are different.
You would need to get the proper enclosure for the drives.
It would be most likely a usb connection.

Just an enclosure is about $20 -$35 US
