Not sure if it is the hard drive or what. But when i turn on the computer it comes on and loads up and when it gets to the windows xp screen it goes for a few seconds then restarts, everytime now. I just tried running it in safe mode and it will start up fine. Any ideas?

Now im getting ""Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: <Windows Root>\system32\hal.dll. Please re-install a copy of the above file."" Can anyone help?
