pc games looking for cd/dvd before playing

i've installed call of duty 4, hoyle casino, the sims2, devil may cry, but i cant play it because it ask for the cd/dvd that i used to installed the games., wat could be the problem.? i suspect , somthings wrong with my pc.,

is it because of DLA.??

Many games ask you to provide the CD before they'll play. This is pretty much standard behaviour.
