Burning DVD's

I have been trying to burn a DVD from a program (several programs) installed in my computer. When I place the DVD into the tray and close it. the DVD barely spins and is not recognized as even being in the tray. It constantly tells me to add a blank DVD when one is already there. DVD-R and DVD+RW

Try the Power DVD Upgrade Patch for Windows Vista. Here's the link from Acer website:

Power DVD Upgrade Patch.zip

install, restart, and try burning.
