I have VISTA Basic 32 bit. Only recently my hp laptop has been continuously freezing to the point where I need to hold the power button and manually shut down the computer..I suspected it was utorrent and uninstalled it. My computer still freezes every time I attempt to defragment, scan with antivirus longer than 5 minutes, or even let it go into sleep mode, (coming back from inactivity seems to freeze my computer), I even ran a Chkdisk on startup and this froze on startup! This has been only happening recently so I suspect it is a software issue, I don't even know if it's a malware issue. I have a Hijack this log below & an uninstall/install list:
