Outlook 2007 signin issues

I have Outlook 2007 installed and after downloading Outlook Connector I am not able to sign in. A box comes up stating to sign with my password, I do and the box re-appears with the same ststement, then sometimes MS Outlook states it is not responding then I have quit and re-start, can anyone help?
